En dokumentar om modstand gennem mad. Colombia: Kokke som Inés og Norys er blevet tvangsforflyttet af et multinationalt selskab, men gennem madlavningen gør de stædigt modstand. "Chiqui chiqui" er en opskrift baseret på cariaco (lilla majs).

Gennem denne vigtige ret mindes et samfund deres forfædres kultur - en kultur, som er dem blevet frataget dem af multinationale selskaber, som har udnyttet deres landområder.
